The mission of Special Olympics Wisconsin (SOWI) is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with cognitive disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
With seven Regional offices throughout the state, Special Olympics Wisconsin serves nearly 10,000 athletes in 189 communities statewide. SOWI is one of 52 U.S. programs and nearly 200 countries providing this opportunity to nearly 3.7 million athletes around the world.

Couple of weeks ago I was in St. Louis for a conference and took these shots.
Last Friday I had the opportunity to go on a photo safari of Chicago that a friend of mine had bought. We started out taking pictures around 5 pm in downtown Chicago and last shutter was released at 2:20am next morning.
I had a blast taking photos and hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them.

I was driving along the Rock River in Jefferson, WI when I saw a bird in sky with huge wingspan. I had never seen a bird with that huge of a wingspan in Jefferson. I stopped the car and turned around to take these photos.
